As promised, we've just sent out the Happy Hill #1 Shipping Surveys, Powered by Backerkit this morning.  So, those survey links should be sitting in your inbox now!

HOT OFF THE ANVIL! METAL COVERS! 

We just got a few pics from Jacob at Faerie Metal who we're partnering with on a special super limited METAL cover re-release of some of our all-time favorite series. 

As we mentioned in our last update, for the first time ever, ComixTribe will be releasing METAL covers of some of our most popular titles!

The first wave of COMIXTRIBE METAL covers in the series will include four titles:

- HAPPY HILL #1 Limited Metal Edition

- SINK #1 Limited Metal Edition

- WAILING BLADE #1 Limited Metal Edition

- THE RED TEN #1 Limited Metal Edition

Each title will be limited to ONLY 25 COPIES, and will debut at comic conventions later this year and into 2022 while supplies last.

Later this afternoon, we'll be contacting our full ComixTribe mailing list of 12,000 fans, letting them know about the METAL SERIES, but we wanted to give YOU our extremely valued Kickstarter backers the morning to get your orders in first, before opening things up to our larger fan base.

Happy Hill Backers Get First Dibs on the New ComixTribe Metal Series! [Surveys Coming Monday!]

Hey, Happy Hillers! Thanks again for your patience as we get everything ready for our shipping survey, which we'll be sending on MONDAY, AUGUST 30! This survey is designed to collect your shipping information and for you to confirm any add-ons you may have pledged for during the Happy Hill #1 campaign.

And even if you didn't add extra funds during the campaign, you'll be able to upgrade your pledge or choose some ADD-ON EXTRAs when you fill out your survey as well!

On Monday morning, the Happy Hill #1 Kickstarter Suvey, powered by Backerkit, will go out. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

Did Your Pledge Get Dropped? Did You Make the Wrong Pledge?

Unfortunately, we were sad to see that 11 backers' pledges were dropped as Kickstarter was unable to resolve their credit card charge issues...

However, those backers will be able to fix this through the Backerkit Survey.

Also, if you made a mistake in your pledge and selected the wrong reward, you will be able to correct it when the survey comes, as well as provide us with additional info so we can fulfill your pledge!

Shipping Surveys Coming Soon and Check Out These Colors!

Hey, Happy Hillers! Hope you're having a good week! 

We've been putting the finishing touches on our print files and working with our printer to get everything squared away for production this week, so that as soon as those Kickstarter funds clear, we're able to get those presses running!  

Kickstarter did its thing to collect funding from our backers, and the good news is, 98% of pledges were successfully collected.

If you were one of the 11 backers whose pledges were unable to be collected, not to worry.

You will still receive a shipping survey via BACKERKIT with all of your pledge information, and you'll be able to make your pledge using a credit card so that you'll receive your rewards along with all of the other pledges that were processed through Kickstarter.

Surveys Going Out Soon! Digital Rewards to Follow Shortly!

We've also been hard at work prepping that shipping survey so we can collect your information for fulfillment.

We'll also have some surprise extras and things you can add to your pledge should you feel like stocking up on more cool ComixTribe Stuff... seriously, some REALLY COOL Add-ons above and beyond what you had accessed to during the launch will be open to you, so we really hope you check 'em out! 

And in more good news, our digital rewards are still on track to be delivered to you before the end of the month!

So, keep an eye out for an update from us next week!

How Great Did THIS NYCC EXCLUSIVE COVER Turn Out?

With all the craziness down the stretch of our launch, we didn't get a chance to show you the finished colors on the NYCC EXCLUSIVE Cover Joe did.  Is it just us, or does color artist Chris Sotomayor just keep getting better and better! 

We were so blown away by how this one came out that we've decided to give this cover a SPOT-UV Upgrade to REALLY make it pop! 

Don't worry if you missed adding this MUST-HAVE cover to your pledge... you'll still be able to pick one up in our pledge manager as an add-on... or you can stop by New York Comic Con in August!

Thanks for an Amazing Happy Hill #1 Launch! Here's What's Next...

Hello there, Happy Hill backers! We're back after catching or breath post an amazing final day of the Happy Hill campaign. The team took to Twitter to share their excitement and gratitude for such a tremendous showing for this new book launch:

We're thrilled that we were able to unlock all of our stretch goals and deliver the best possible version of this book to all of you who helped make it happen!

We had over 200 RETURNING backers on this launch, and it's such a blessing to be able to count on our longtime fans to come back for more from us. 

Likewise, with this campaign, we also brought on over 300 NEW BACKERS, who were willing to take a chance on a new title and we're happy to welcome into the ComixTribe fold! 

HAPPY HILL FULFILLMENT BEGINS...

We're in the process of finalizing the files going to print. Right now, we're in the 2 week funding freeze period, where Kickstarter is processing pledges on our behalf.

96% of pledges have already been successfully processed via Kickstarter.

Still that leaves 22 backers whose pledges have errored.

This is a simple fix, and usually means your credit card info with Kickstarter is not up to date.

To update your payment information, simply log into Kickstarter and update your account.

(Kickstarter will also send you an email to fix this.)

NOTE: If you're having trouble getting this fixed, it's usually best to try to do it from the desktop vs the phone app, which can be a little buggy. 

Please resolve those pledges ASAP, so we can get you your rewards without delay.

Next Step: Surveys

If you're new to Kickstarter, you may be wondering how we'll know where to send your rewards. Not to worry...

After Kickstarter finishes doing its thing and collects pledges from all backers, we'll send you a short SHIPPING SURVEY to fill out which will let you tell us where to send your physical and digital rewards.

Prompt survey fulfillment = faster fulfillment, so we do hope you'll get yours in ASAP after we send it.

Once we get the surveys out, we'll follow up with a time-table on expected rewards delivery.

Add-Ons & Extras

You may have noticed that we topped another stretch goal in our final hours of this launch, which makes another awesome cover available. As there wasn't much time to take orders initially, we'll be making those covers... and some additional ComixTribe merchandise available as EXTRAS you can add on to your pledge when you fill out the survey. More details to come!
